Hi Doctor XXXXXXX

From past few years, I have been experiencing facial hair growth on face and coz of that my personal life has destructively disturbed.

I have consulted gynecologist and earlier they advised me Ultra sound and various other Hormone test.

Following were the hormone test I got done in year 2013:
P3
T4
TSH
USG
2nd line --> DHEA

but everything came positive and all the values were fine.

Could you please suggest me if I shall get these test done again?
or also, what's the role and actual significance of these tests and associated hormone.

thank you;

Brief Answer:
hello XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
the most likely possibility of having hirsutism with normal cycles and normal ultrasound will be idiopathic hirsutism
the last test you should do before labelling as idiopathic hirsutism will be to get a 17 hydroxy progesterone and overnight dexamethasone suppression test.
if both are normal , you can consider taking some antiandrogens which will help you
please send your usg and blood reports first
