Brief Answer:
You can continue it as advised by your treating doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend, greetings from HCM, I have read your question.

Your sugar levels are very high. You first need to check your HbA1c, microalbumin in urine and lipid profile. Tripride 2 forte is good oral hypoglycemic medication, you can continue as advised by your treating doctor.

But for controlling your sugar levels, you need lifestyle modifications. As you are young, you will definitely get lot of benefit out of it. Please divide your meal in to 3/4 small parts. Avoid carbohydrates and take more of green leafy vegetables, fruits, oats, nuts and millets. Take good protein diet which include egg, fish.
Stop smoking and reduce alcohol intake, if any.
You need to exercise. Aerobic exercise is good and will be helpful.
Yoga and pranayama will help you.
Avoid stress, practice meditation.

Dear friend you will definitely see good results in 6 months, if you are regular.

Brief Answer:
Occasionally , but start reducing slowly

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend greetings from HCM. I understand your concern. You try yo reduce your alcohol intake slowly. A glass of red wine is good . but not to cross the limit. You need to take good nutritious food even though you are having alcohol. Good hydration too. Take care and please do rate the answers and do contact us for more questions. If you don't have any other queries please close the session. THANK YOU.

Answered by Dr. Niranjan G (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
I advise not to drink anything.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend, greetings . i advise you to stop all beverages which contain alcohol. But if you are addicted to drinks , then slowly shit yo red wine not more than a glass once a week is OK .
Studies tell that red wine has some anti- oxidants . but too much is dangerius too.
but slowly go away from all and stop.
Take care
