Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Fungal Infection On Skin
Question: Hi Doctor,
My wife has consumed a 750 ml mild beer. she got a 99.6 fever all of a sudden (99.6 F in mouth; in arm pit it was 98.3 F).
Can she take a P650 now? or is it not needed at all?
BTW - she has got a fungal infection on skin (arm pits and some parts of hand..and she has been applying Terbinator-M and Moiztal ointments in affected areas, including arm pits.
Also, she takes Thyronorm 25 daily.

I have gone through your query. If temperature is not 100 and above no need to take paracetamol. But as you took one dosage it is ok. It can be due to viral fever or throat irritation from beer.
You can just wait and see whether it improves or another symptom appears. No need to take paracetamol if fever is not 100 and above. She can take chewable vitamin C , warm fluids like tea with lemon , warm chicken soup with pepper etc. Also get some rest.
The effect of p250 10ml will last for 4 to 6hours.
