Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully reviewed your uploaded tests reports and would explain as follows:

1- Your blood lipid profile is slightly altered, but as your LDL/HDL ratio and Total cholesterol /HDL ratio are withing the normal ranges, which means that you do not have dyslipidemia. So there is no need for any special treatment.

I agree with your doctor that with some diet modifications (increase food reach in omega 3 fatty acids like fish, fish oil, olive oil, nuts, etc.) coupled with a lot of physical activity (especially walking and aerobics) will help normalize these mild alterations.

2- Your vitamin D plasma levels are a little low. Taking vitamin D supplements would also be helpful.

Regarding the other blood lab tests, they are within the normal ranges. Vitamin B12 plasma levels are a little elevated, but this is not a matter of concern.

Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!

Wishing all the best,

Dr. Iliri
