Hi and thank you for asking HCM!

Kenalog is a corticosteroid therapy, which has as a major side effect BP instability (including hypertension and in severe cases hypertensive crisis).

Fortunately for you the BP is at border lines so i advice only non medical therapy to stabilize your BP:
- Reduce sodium (salt) intake
- Try to loose weigh by eating a Mediterranean based diet rich in vegetables, fish and white meat.
- Increase physical activities
- Reduce alcohol intake

If the problem persist (your BP is still above 150/95 mmHg) i recommend consulting your doctor to run other tests and to see the possibility of adding antihypertensive pills in your therapy.

If you were my patient i would like to prefer adding a diuretics in such a case.

Hope this was of help!

I recommend adding diuretics...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXX

It's a good thing that you are loosing weigh. I encourage you continuing this way and keep going with mentioned dietary and life change.

I think that diuretics should be added to your medication. Adding diuretics to existing therapy is the best strategy to stabilize hypertension from corticosteroid therapy.

So i recommend taking co diovan (diovan plus hydrochlortiaside) instead of diovan.

Wish you health!

Hi and thank you for following up!

You can safely take together atenolol aciphex and lunesta because there aren't any known interaction between this drugs.

The thing that concern me is the unwanted lost of weight I recommend to run abdominal ultrasound, chest x ray and upper endoscopy to determine the cause of weight loss.

Wish you health!

Great...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

That's great. Atenolol will improve your heart rate and will help decrease anxiety too.

Diovan will help reduce blood pressure. The overall result will be reduced bp.

Hoping the best!
