Brief Answer:
needs further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

I have read your query and understand the lab reports.

Your mother's ESR is high at 120. There should be a chronic infection or inflammation that is causing this high value.

She does not seem to have typhoid. However, there must be some other infection inside her body.

She needs further evaluation of this in the form of chest c-ray, ultrsound abdomen, urine routine test, liver function and kidney function tests. Please get these tests done and discuss with her doctor again.

The cause of high ESR should be confirmed. If not, the fever would not subside.

Hope this is clear to you. Let me know if you have doubts and further queries, if any.
