Suggest Treatment For High BP, Dizziness, Weakness And Shaking

Question: Do we have a octo/nonagenarian expert in the house? Issue is managing meandering blood pressure which varies, seemingly randomly between 125/80 to 200/110. Multiple meds, but for HT the med is low-dose ARB + hydrochlorothiazide. BP spikes are accompanied by dizziness, weakness, shaking. In ER multiple times for this...no concomitant damage. Head CT, blood chems, urine all A+ per ER doc. No signs of organ damage or stroke, no brain bleeds. Dizziness is present most of time, regardless of BP. Have ruled out congestive heart fail. No Afib. No pulse-ox issues last ER trip. Removal of ARB to avoid dizziness did not abate it. Patient 91.7 years. Docs are collectively of opinion that 'you're just old and there is nothing for it'. Not me...mother in law. Slow macular degen and substantial hearing loss.

Hello

After going through the medical details provided by you i would like to tell you that sometimes with the progressing age and the degenerative changes that happens inside the body leaves the medical science helpless.

As age is a important concern so much aggressive approach can also not be opted. Its good that all other reports have come out to be fine.

As she is on Diuretics as well as other multiple anti hypertensives, Dizziness can be due to electrolyte imbalance that is a common association of these drugs which can be checked and if deranged could be rectified.

Probably you must be aware of that but i would like to highlight this her dietary salt intake should be reduced to minimal possible as salt also contributes to increase bp.

I hope you understand the scenario.

Kind Regards
