Brief Answer:
cut salt, increase exercise

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question.

There are many things you can do to lower your blood pressure. It is important that you take any medication prescribed by your doctor for this every day. Cutting out all salt, alcohol and caffeine may lower your blood pressure. Losing weight, sometimes even 5-10 pounds can decrease blood pressure. Increasing your aerobic exercise to 30 minutes every day will help. If conservative measures do not get it back to normal it is important that you take medication because having high blood pressure over time can lead to heart attacks, strokes and kidney damage.

Good luck to you.
