Suggest Treatment For High BP And Bradycardia

Posted on Fri, 11 Sep 2015
Question: my blood pressure is 135/55. This changes a bit daily but usually between 115 to 135 / 55 to 65. My pulse is 47 and usually around 45; it has been in the forties for as long as I can recall.
I am 69.
I have no discomforts, pains, or any symptoms that I can think of.
Is my blood pressure a problem? I could take a garlic capsule if you think it would help.
Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your BP is at upper limits of the norm and you shouldn't worry about that. Although your HR is slightly bradikardia, since you have no symptoms you shouldn't worry for that to.

My opinion is that you should do the following measures to keep your BP and HR under control :
- reduce salt intake
- avoid alcohol caffeine and energy drink
- increase physical activity
- use garlic supplements

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
