Suggest Treatment For Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Question: Hello doctor my girlfriend is 20 years old from last 4 years she had hidradenitis suppurativa. She talked many doctors but she didnt get any cute. What is your say on it? Is it cureable? Please tell me i am much worried describe this disease and its cure.

Hidradenitis suppuritiva is chronic inflammation of sweat glands. Any active inflammation leads to flaring up of inflammation with increase in lesion and associated with discharge .
Majority of individuals respond to long term use of antibiotics for 3-4 weeks , keeping the area clean and dry. resistant cases may require surgical excision .
It would be very helpful if you could provide me following additional information
1. Where is location of lesion ?
1. Since how long is it present ?
3. How many episodes of worsening of symptoms has she faced?

Its in her left and right armpit. The disease is since last 4 years but it get al right then it starts again and kast lumps are frim 2 months. She also have got 2 operation to take out the lumps but its happen again. She had hot worse situation around 20 times. And now her position is that she shouts in pain and afater every 3 hours she gets pain killer injection. I cant take photograph as her arms is not opening.
