Question: I and my husband got hepatitis c 12 years ago , probably from dirty food from a restaurant and doctor said they have no cure for it and have to wait until it was gone and Recently i started all sort of symptoms as alittle yellowish skin, a little fever, no apetite etc. I ve seen on Japanese TV last week that Japan red cross doctors discovered that hepatitis virus usually still remain in lever and eventurely cause lever cancer and these doctors already discovered several medicines and blood test but since I live in U.S , it is difficult to get tests and medicine if I have that virus . tell me what I can do . Thank you

Brief Answer:
Lab reports are needed;hep.A suspected

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the medical history of your husband carefully and understood your concerns.

1. First, should determine whether both of you have passed hepatitis C years ago. Simple blood tests can be determinative.

2. Hepatitis C is not transmitted through dirty food, but through sexual contact or contact with contagious body secretions.

I believe you might have passed hepatitis A, which is commonly transmitted through foods.

3. When hepatitis c is chronized, there are many other drug treatment to be considered based on your actual health conditions.

4. It is true that hepatitis c can lead to liver cancer; however, many years are needed.

Looking forward to have the lab reports in!

Brief Answer:
Fucoidan use and Vitamins are of help in treating your liver...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

You are saying that you are having syncope (faint) after twisting your neck. This is most probably due to carotid sinus hypersensitivity. Carotid sinus hypersensitivity is diagnosed when carotid sinus massage causes a three second, or longer, pause in the heart beat causing faint (syncope).

Yes fucoidan use and Vitamins (especially vitamin E) are of help in treating your liver problems.

Wish you health!
