If it i s acute and with in 6 months of possible exposure, then call your doctor and let them help you. Before 6 months of stay in body, virus has a chance to clear the load but you still can not cure it, it stays dormant in your genes.
if the exposure has been more than 6 months then you will need measures and precautions to avoid others from getting it and reducing damage done to liver. Antiviral medications like entecavir or interferons beta should be started on the discretion of your doctor and liver transplant can be considered.
Make sex safer for your partner and get her tested too. Dont share your needles or syringes if you use them for some reason. Dont donate blood. Dont share your tooth brushes as oral secretions, sexual secretions and all other body fluids can transmit the virus.
Talk to a hepatologist at an earliest convenience and let them run some labs and assess the damage and measure the stay the virus had in your body and manage accordingly.
