Question: I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for the past month and a half. and after reading from some articles, it seems I have hemorrhoid tag. Today, I noticed it has a white tip which looks like pus. The area has been extremely itchy. I have used all kinds of medication but it seems to be getting bigger. What should I do? There is no bleeding or pain involved. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
There will be bleeding per rectum in haemorrhoids.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
There will be bleeding per rectum in haemorrhoids. Though the bleeding is not present now,it might have occurred few days or few months back.
But,you should be clinically examined by your Surgeon.
If at all haemorrhoids are confirmed, you should follow some dietary advice. You should take high fiber diet, drink plenty of liquids and eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
If there is no response, Surgery has to be done. It is a simple day case procedure.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
