Question: need help, I've been experiencing pelvic pain for 7 months mild to severe, I had three menstraul periods last month, doctor gave me BC to stop the bleeding. I am nauseated daily for Months now and the past week I have been vomiting daily everything I eat and drink. I feel like I'm dying and no one seems to know what's wrong. Please help me. I had an ovarian torsion Aug 20th 2015. I now have had a cyst on my right ovary for 4 months now that is slowly increasing in size. I was also put on antibiotics for a UTI, I cannot emtey my bladder without horrible cramping pain during and after urination, no burning itching is present, just cramping pain in lower pelvic area. I have intense pelvic pain on the right lower pelvic side and left, down into my thighs, and lower back. I have tried many different nausea medicines none seem to eliminate the nausea or vomiting. I am dizzy, light headed, and bloated everyday. I fear cancer but all test have come back negative. Ultrasounds only show 2.3cm. I have been. To the ER coutless times for deyhdration, and pelvic pain. I have been treated for internal herpes, I was told to take a pill and magically I'd feel better, I didn't and so she took me off that medication. I tired of living on pain pills, and now I'm being prescribed antidepressants and xanex, everytime I try to work I run a fever 99.5-102. If I lay down and sleep, which I do daily because its all I'm able, my fever is normally low grade 96.7-97.5. Please help me, I'm very sick and no one seems to know what's going on with me. My hair is falling out, I've tried gluten free vegean diet only for 3 week's with zero improvement so I returned to trying to add chicken and carbs to my diet for calories and protein but I can't keep anything down. Please help me

Brief Answer:
Can be due to cyst or pelvic inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The constant pelvic pain that you are having can be due to ovarian cyst or pelvic inflammation. Usually a combination of pain killers and antibiotics help in controlling the pain and inflammation.
The excessive nausea that you have can be related to the birth control pill that you are taking. You can consult your gynecologist and request for changing the pill. This can help in reducing nausea.
You do have multiple problems and a detailed examination and investigations are needed to find the exact cause. Till then you can have symptomatic relief only according to the severity of symptoms. Taking an H2 blocker like omeprazole can also help in controlling gastric acidity thus reducing the nausea.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

I saw a new doctor today, she suggested possible endometriosis, and neurological damage from my surgery she told me to stop all pain medicine other then ibuprofen which I'm not sure I agree with because the pain is at times very severe, she also told me I would improve with acupuncture and massages, and suggested vaginal physical therapy... I'm feeling a little concerned and unsure with her suggestion of not taking anymore pain medicine. I have a four year old and I don't know how to manage daily life with this much pain and nausea.

Brief Answer:
Laparoscopy is needed for diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Suddenly stopping all the pain medicines will not help. It will add to your distress. You can start with accupuncture and massage gradually. It can give some relief only. Endometriosis can be ruled out after a laparoscopic examination. Do consult your gynecologist and plan regarding the same.
Hope my answer is helpful.

I agree, I would like for my cyst to be removed through surgery and possible check for anything else that could be wrong but I can't seem to fine the right doctor who is willing to go ahead with the exploratory lap to remove my cyst

Brief Answer:
You need to consult your gynecologist.

Detailed Answer:
You can consult your gynecologist regarding the competent doctor for exploratory laparoscopy nearest to your place. Removal of the cyst and removing any adhesions due to endometriosis will help.
Regards.
