Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I would like to have some more information. Is this the first time you are having this rapid heart beat, is it a regular beat or it is irregular? Did you have an EKG before the doctor put you on medicines? If you have a copy, please upload. If not, did the doctor say any diagnosis like atrial fibrillation or supra ventricular tachycardia (SVT).

Do you have any condition like thyroid illness or anxiety? Do get back to me with your input.

Hope I have answered your query.
