Suggest Treatment For Headache, Fever And Body Pain
Question: doc recently i visited XXXXXXX XXXXXXX which have so many swine flu cases and went very congusted areas like raikway stations etc.i visited XXXXXXX in 18th march and came back 22 march 2015.i have headeche, fever like and body pain.i want to know is it possible to develop swine flu in these 4 days.how much time require to develop swine flu.
please tell how much time it will need to develop symtoms of swine flu after virus enters into human body

Swine flu resembles any other viral fever . There are symptoms like fever,cough, headache, bodyache, running nose.
It takes around 3 days to develop symptoms after entry of the virus.
I would suggest you to
1. Have a nutritious diet. Drink plenty of water.
2. I would start tablet Paracetamol 650 mg to relieve the fever and headache and bodyache.
3. Get a nasopharyngeal swab test done for swine flu.
4. Get a blood test done for hemoglobin, total count, platelets and ESR
5. Wash your hands often. Avoid touching your face,nose, eyes when you go out. If possible use a H1N1 mask.
Do not worry. With proper treatment , swine flu can be cured.
