Brief Answer:
This is mostly due to generalized weakness after viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the reports you have attached.
Her recent CT scan is suggestive of resolution of viral pneumonia.
Her medicines are appropriate for the disease.
Her current symptoms are mostly due to weakness and malaise seen post viral infection.
She is also having old age (56 years) so post viral weakness will be more.
Tell her to drink plenty of fluids orally and keep maintain good hydration. Take all medications timely. Tamiflu can cause vertigo and decreased oral intake as side effects.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
Please let me know if she is diabetic or not.
I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your mother. Thanks.

Hi, My son is 18 and severely disabled (intractable seizures, dystonia and severely mentally retarded) and feeds via a g tube. He was hospitalized in November with the swine flu and a viral pneumonia and was on a vent for quite a while. Over the last few months or so, his gum overgrowth has gotten a lot worse. Specifically, the roof of his mouth seems like it has overgrown so much it is down to the bottom of his top teeth. I have asked the ped neuro (we've seen him for 18 years) if any of his seizure meds can cause overgrowth and he says no. He is not on Dilantin or any of the ones that typically cause the overgrowth. Still, I am very concerned about the thickening of the roof of his mouth. I am making an appointment to see a specialty dentist but I am curious to know if he could have a tumor or anything? He has never had a cavity in 18 years and I take good care of his teeth.

HI, my daughter is 19 and works at a daycare and has had a "cold" for about a week. She went to the dr on monday and he said she has a bad cold but gave her a Z pac, told her there was no ear infection but lots of fluid in the ear and call if it gets worse. Its getting worse, 101 fever, and alot of ear pain(clogged and muffled) Should she use some type of ear drops to alleviate the pain? Shes been taking Zpac, tylenol and a cold+sinus pill(i think she has viral pneumonia)
