Brief Answer:
Could be a migraine type of headache

Detailed Answer:
Good afternoon. My name is Dr. Dariush Saghafi and I am a neurologist and headache subspecialist here in the XXXXXXX Ohio region of the world. Greetings to wherever you may be.

Are these episodes of headaches BRAND NEW or have you had these for some time and are just wondering about what's going on in case you've been treated and it doesn't seem to be working or something? Is the headache portion of this severe and accompanied by nausea or vomiting or are the headaches themselves rather mild and almost minor compared to the other part you are talking about?

Your description is consistent with that of a migraine headache that may have what we refer to as a complex or complicated course associated.

Another possibility of what the fog and loss of balance could be may be something referred to as MIGRAINE EQUIVALENT...especially if headaches with that are either not really present or if present not a major component at all.

If these events are all relatively brand new to you then, I would recommend considering getting an imaging study of the brain such as MRI and to do it with contrast agents called gadolinium.

If the present information has been helpful; I would absolutely be very thankful for your written feedback and a STAR RATING for how I answered this question.

Brief Answer:
Headache syndrome is most likely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your response to update me now with the information that since Saturday these episodes are new.

Therefore, as I stated in the above note my recommendation (if you were my patient) is to seek out a physician who is either a neurologist or headache specialist so that a thorough neurological examination can be performed followed by appropriate blood work and an imaging study of the brain which I believe should be an MRI with gadolinium contrast.

This will assure we don't miss anything organic within the head that could be causing these new symptoms of headaches and blurry vision. If the MRI turns out to be clean (i.e. normal) then, we will know that the symptoms are more likely to represent a new onset headache syndrome which at least has symptoms of a migraine like entity. But again, it will be dependent upon the rest of the story that your physician can ascertain as to whether or not these represent true primary migraine headaches or something else.

I wish you the best and hope you find answers soon.
