Suggest Treatment For Halitosis
Question: Sir, I am having a problem of bad breath. It has been there since 4 years. What to do? I am almost in a position to take a final action. Because it feels me very much annoying when other person puts his hand over his mouth or nose when I open my mouth. Please help me out. There are no dental problems at all. I have done all what I can do in this case. But no use. Please help me!!!

2.Do you have any white patches over the tonsils?
3.Do you suffer from digestion problems?
4.Do you have acid reflux problem like heartburn, spur taste in mouth?

6.Do you have dryness in mouth?
7.Do you take any medication or have any medical problems?
8.Do you smoke?

1. No facial pain but sometime stuffy nose
2. There are few white patches over it. I got my nasal indoscopy done few days before. Doctor found nothin major. She said there is a normal infection and she gave me drop and tablates. But still there is no use.
3. Seems to be but no symptoms. How to say yes.
4. Sometime heart burns. I don't know spurn taste. But that white and yelloish layer over my tounge smells very bad. And whenever i drink or eat somethin that taste remains in my mouth. Even if i brush that taste of paste also remains. So brushing also becomes a problem
5. Never checked out for dibetis
6. Many times my throth, mouth and toungh gets dry, even after drinking a lot of water and scraping a tounge surface.
7. No medication
8. No smoking habit at all

As you have white yellow coating on tongue along with frequent dry mouth it can be due to Yeast infection known as Oral Thrush..
Secondly white patches on tonsils can be Tonsil stones and they are also a potent cause of bad smell..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Pathologist and get evaluated and he can do a microscopic examination of the tongue scraping and also check for your throat..
In case of Oral Thrush antifungal medicines like ora intake of Fluconazole, Nystatin mouthwash and clotrimazole lozenges can be advised..
Doing Gargle with specialized mouthwash containing Methyl Cellulose that are specially formulated for Dry mouth patients can help..
