Brief Answer:
Excision = Removal under local anesthesia.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and photo.

This is called a corn and the preferred treatment is a small surgery by which the whole corn and a small amount of normal tissue is removed under local anesthesia; this is called excision.
The wound heals very fast.
Other applications like a corn cap and some solutions do not really help much to give a complete removal or cure. Hence the best way in my knowledge and experience is total excision.
Consult a General Surgeon.

Ok. Thanks! Why does a corn come up? Is there anything I can do, so that this does not come again?

Brief Answer:
reaction to the foreign body in most cases.

Detailed Answer:
In some cases a very small foreign body enters the sole and the cornified tissue is the reaction of the body to limit the spread of the foreign body.
This is the normal process, which when enhanced becomes a corn.
Additionally the sole bears the whole pressure of the body enhancing the effect.

Nothing special needs to be done on your part.
