You should start treatment with antivirals.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have been through your question.

First I need to know what kind of herpes do you have herpes simplex ( labial or genital) or herpes zoster?
You should start as soon as possible treatment with antivirals (valacyclovir or acyclovir) if you have symptoms.
Please could you clarify me if you have symptoms or not and could you send me an attached picture of your elements ?

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
You can be sexual active if you take antivirals.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you writing back.

You should know that if you take antivirals on a daily basis to suppress the virus can reduce the number of outbreaks and reduce the risk of infecting others during sexual intercourse.
As well you should tell your partner about herpes and must use condoms and do not have sex if you have outbreaks.

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.

I suggest to start antivirals on a daily basis.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you writing back.
I am sorry for my late response.

In this situation I suggest to start antivirals on a daily basis to suppress the virus in order to reduce the number of outbreaks and reduce the risk of infecting your partner during sexual intercourse.
Furthermore you should use condoms, practicing abstinence when symptoms are present as well boost your immunity.

The best things you can do to boost your immunity are to quit smoking, eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, and avoid stress.

I hope my answer helps you.
