Question: I have had genital herpes for years but not severe, one to two outbreaks a year. I also have recently been diagnosed with RA. For the past three days i have had severe pelvic pain that generates to my upper thighs.
RA or Herpes???

hello,
there is a possibility of RA causing this pain, as if there is synovitis in the hip it can cause such a problem.
genital herpes would also produce a rash along with the pain, so seems more like RA.
you can take an anti inflammatory medication for a few days and see if it gives you relief.
