Suggest Treatment For Gastroparesis And Vomiting When Diagnosed With Valley Fever

Question: My daughter, 31 years old, has gastroprorecis (sp) and has recently been dx with Valley Fever. This am she is vomiting ( thought to be from the gastro ) but for the first time she is vomiting up small amounts of what we this is blood. What is our next step, take her to the ER, ect.

Yes certainly any blood mixed vomitus has to be carefully evaluated.

You need to get blood investigations like Hb and HCT.

Upper GI endoscopy/UGIE is the most important investigation need in her case,since it localizes the source of bleed.

I advise you to visit ER at the earliest.

Further management is based on the test results.
