Question: Hi, I am 29 year old and taking Rabekind-plus (Rabeprazole + Levosulpiride) tablet from last 6 weeks for gastric problem, but still i am suffering from gastric (After eating small amount of food stomach feels full, Vomiting sensation, sometime I can hear sound and gas bubble sensation inside the stomach, Tiredness (unable to work), numbness in hand, Recently doctor gave me B12 vitamin injection for the numbness. No pain or burning sensation in the stomach). I have done biopsy and results are normal. Could you please suggest me how long do I need to take this tablet for gastric? Or do I need to do any other test before continuing the same tablet? Could you please let me know whether these are symptoms of auto immune gastritis or Pernicious Anemia? History: I was taking Decdan-0.5(steroid) tablet at December as I had hair loss in small area of my beard. Has taken PAN-D tablet for one month for gastric problem on January and the same issue is reoccurred on mid of February. I had done Ultra sound and CT scan of abdomen and all are normal

Brief Answer: Answer given below Detailed Answer: Hi, You are having dyspeptic symptoms. Though you have numbness and have taken Vit B12 injection, there is nothing suggestive of autoimmune gastritis/pernicious anemia from the information you have given. The symptoms you have could be due to H.pylori infection ( more likely) or gastroparesis (less likely). You can get tested for H.pylori infection. Meanwhile you continue taking Rabekind Plus. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr.R.K

Brief Answer: Answer given below Detailed Answer: Hi, You can take Sompraz HP. 3 tablets in the morning and 3 in the evening for 2 weeks. They come is fixed dose combination. You need to take the middle one (esomeprazole) before food and the other two after food. There are man different ways to test H.pylori. 1. Urea breath test ( not available in all centers) 2. Blood test - Anti H.pylori Ig G 3.Endoscopy and biopsy (biopsy tissue can be used for HPE or rapid urease test) 4. Stool antigen test. All are equally good. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr.R.K
