Brief Answer:
Provide some close up pictures

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
Now from the description , it looks like you have developed an irritant allergic reaction in the groin region.
Allergic reaction to canestan cream is very rare, so I would like to rule out other possibilities as well.
So I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition before we can proceed to the treatment.
It would be good if you can click some close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page.
Also please tell if you have been applying anything other than the medicine recommended by your doctor.
Have you been applying any oils or creams or things like dettol or savlon over the groin area.
Did you ever develop any fluid filled blisters or any ulcers over the area.
Any outside contact?

Kindly provide me the above details and the pictures so that I can help you better.

Hi Doctor
I have attached the images.

Yes I have been using savlon for cleaning from last two weeks and its been burning heavily during this week. Also used listerine( mouth wash) thrice for cleaning and once applied coconut oil as a part of home remedy.

No, I have not noticed fluid filled blisters or ulcer. All I see is redness and dry skin. I feel my upper layer skin is peeled off. From yesterday burning has increased and I was not able to sleep properly due to this issue.

Brief Answer:
Stop using savlon, take treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

So the reason for such a severe reaction in your case is the use of savlon. Both savlon and dettol are very strong agents and should never be used over the groin area since the skin in this area is very thin and sensitive.
Stop using savlon immediately.
Just wash the affected area twice a day with water and apply lobate m cream over the affected area twice a day.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to avoid friction.
Take some oral antihistamine tablet like tablet levocetrizine once a day.
I am sure this treatment will help you.

Brief Answer:
Infection should heal in sometime

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You can continue to take levocetrizine for two to three days more since you still have rednessin the area.
Apply lobate m for atleast three to five days more.
If still the itching or flakiness continues, then just apply candid cream twice a day for two weeks more. This will cure the fungal infection completely .
