Suggest Treatment For Fungal Infection In The Armpits

Question: Hi,

I have a series of questions concerning bumps/rashes in my armpit and groin areas. First, in November 2016, I noticed painful rashes in both my armpit and groin - these were not bad rashes, but enough that I sought a doctor. The generalist I saw said it was a fungal infection, I used fungal soap and cream to no avail for 3 weeks. I finallt saw a dermatologist in December 2017, who gave me topical steroids, which took care of it. Since then, I've had 1-2 nore small "outbreaks" on my groin, applied the cream, and the symptoms were gone in a day.

Yesterday, I noticed 3-4 highly sensitive lumps under my armpits - mostly under my right arm pit. These symptoms are very different from the rash. They are barely visible, somewhere between the size of anpea and a marble, clear to the touch, sore, and I have no idea when they emerged. I have an appointment with a GP on Monday - should I be highly concerned about these? I've been taking finasteride for years and propranolol occasionally this week for anxiety. Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Clinical examination is must

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So you have developed small pea sized nodules which are painful slightly. So in the area of armpit, mkst likely cause of such lesions is sebaceous cysts which may be infected and hence causing pain.
Second common cause is enlarged lymph node mkst likely infective. A clinical examination is must which can decide what type of lesions they are.
If yoh can send a picture of lesion, i can throw some light on it.
Thanks and regards
