Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination When Suffering From Bacterial Prostatitis
Question: My husband has had a problem with frequent urination. He was seen by a urologist,who has tried him on a couple meds. He says it is a problem with his prostate.When the doc presses on his prostate puss discharges from his penis.Do you know what may be causing this,should he be on an antibiotic?

If pus is coming out of the prostate then he might have a bacterial prostatitis. This should be treated with ciprofloxacin etc. for one month. I am surprised that the doctor who did the rectal examination didn't prescribe an antibiotic.
