Brief Answer: Glycolic peel; Sunscreen; Skin lightening creams Detailed Answer: Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic. I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern and I have understood it. Oily skin, acne and open pores are all because of the same reason :Sebaceous gland hyperplasia. Thus people who have oily skin also have open pores as well as acne as compared to those who have dry skin and very small pores. The skin, whether it is oily or dry is genetically determined and cannot be changed permanently. However there are various treatments which you can undergo e.g the most simple and commonly used is glycolic peel. You can take glycolic acid peel session from a dermatologist which has various advantages like: pigment reduction, reduces pore size, reduces acne, evens out tone and reduces oiliness. You can take glycolic peel session from a dermatologist Regarding freckles which appear as XXXXXXX brown spots on the sun exposed parts of the body e,g face and chest etc on fair skinned individuals. They can be made lighter by sun avoidance and using a skin lightening cream containing one or more of the skin lightening ingredients like kojic acid, glycolic acid, hydroquinone etc. Glycolic acid peels can also make them barely noticeable. Strict sun avoidance by using a broad spectrum sunscreen through out the day is also essential. Various surgical methods that can be used for freckles are: CO2 Laser, Radiofrequency cautey as well as chemical cautery with TCA etc. They are usually performed by a dermatologist I would advice that you see a nearby dermatologist for a detailed discussion regarding chemical peeling and freckle removal. regards
