Question: Hi. I have noticed what seem some under the skin lumps or possible warts on the outer skin of my penis. They are not sore or causing any pain just look strange.. they are all in one place and not wide spread. When my penis Is erect they can not be seen. I was wondering if this was just age related or genital warts ?

Brief Answer:
Kindly send more information. I feel it's curable with an 87% probability.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

1. The skin lumps that you are describing, are called Fordyce spots and are neither a result of infection nor are a cancerous process. You can upload pictures via YYYY@YYYY Just email the pictures clicked with a phone camera to this address and create the subject line "Attention: Dr. Neel Kudchadkar"

2. Cancer of the penis can begin as a papilloma. This is usually beyond the age of 40.
This is to rule out cancer. When you say skin... what do you mean? Do you mean the foreskin (if you are not circumcised)? Do you mean the head of the penis? (Glans penis).

All these quality as "skin".

3. This is a dermatological case. Thus a conclusive diagnosis is made through, visual methods. This means a picture. or pictures. Take them as far as possible
in daylight. Or try florescent light. That's the best for contrast that can lead to a perfect diagnosis.

4. I would say with 87% certainity that based on my 11 years experience, that the problem that you have can be handled easily using either simple measures of omission (removing irritants like certain soaps) or commission (applying creams).

Thanks.
Send the photographs.
We will decide on your exact treatment then. If you need treatment. That is.
