Food Intolerance with Leaky Gut/ Under Investigation

Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Food Intolerance with Leaky Gut/ Under Investigation

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
I studied your query in all the details supplied by you.
Reveiwed your reports enclosed also. But the important facts about the cause/ or complaints for which You did the Food Intolerance Tests,is not given by your query.
Without this Important it is very difficult to enlighten and guide on your queries-
a-Why few food allergies increased to Many foods over 1 yrs period,as detected by Food Intolerance Tests done for your 11 yr old son?
b-to Explain on the Possibility of Leaky Gut-in your son's case
c-and to advise on -care of it by investigations /preventive care/ and treatment care and many factors related to the problem your son is having?

Based on the facts of your query-Your son seems to be having recurring loose motions for which mostly you did the food intolerance tests.
But the real reason could be different the intolerance to food could be due to the effect of some internal disturbance in your Body mechanism as such.

Hence I would need more information on the complaints of your son for which You did food intolerance tests 2 times over last 1 yr.
Since how long these complaints are there? how they initiated to start with?
What was the food with which it started and increased over with other foods?
What was the food allergies noted on First Food Intolerance test last yr?
How many new food items were added, by the 2nd Food Intolerance test?

I await your new information on the above asked and unasked-facts,which I expect from your updates for the interactive session at next time.

Hope next interaction would resolve your son's health issues asked by this query.

Brief Answer:
Disturbed Auto-Immune Systemic Disease, with Malabsorption Pernicious Anemia

Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Egg Milk / Wheat-Gluten Food Intolerance suggestive of Disturbed Immunity ? indicative of Sensitive Body Immune System due to internal defects -in it self.

Impression-Disturbed Auto-Immune Systemic Disease, with Mal -absorption -Pernicious Anemia

Hi,Dear, thanks for the query n updates.

My Impression-
On review of your updates,Your son seems to have mainly Gluten and Egg white protein allergies to begin with due to the inbuilt allergies to these foods due to the defective / or Over Sensitive Immune Systems- due to the inbuilt body defects in the Immune System of your son's body.
The increase in the food list is the effect of the inbuilt body defect in the Immune System of the GI system of your son.

Strict Suggestions to HELP your son-to Stop this Increasing food list-
by the Food Intolerance Tests
-Though you stopped these food allergens, he has not stopped wheat and milk totally, which is a MUST in his case and is strictly advised from ME, in your case.
-Besides this -the mal-absorption defect caused over 1 years time has made your son's body more susceptible to defects in the body defenses, as it initiates the chain reaction with the first food Intolerant complaints in your son's case.

Treatment Suggested-
Continue care with the Pediatrician on the following supplementary lines-
-Strict Avoidance of Egg white protein and Wheat.
-Treat the Pernicious Anemia caused from Mal-absorptions sydrome caused due to the food Allergy and resultant Intestinal Mucous Membrane damage By-
Tab Folic Acid and Tab B12 in high doses for x 3 mths to start with and to be continued there after as per the advise from your pediatric doctor.
-Mal-absorption Syndrome with GI complaints to be kept strictly to "0".
-Advise for the Gluten Free diet from your Nutritionist is a MUST for next 10 yrs, till the son trains for the food life style for his defective internal System of Immunity.

Alerts-
Being inbuilt Auto-Immune Sensitive System in your son's body -avoid repeated food insults for the life time.
This would delay the bad effects from the inbuilt Auto-Immune disorders which could crop up , if proper preventive care is not taken at this initial growing years of your son's life.

Hope this would help you to plan treatment with your doctor to treat this intricate problem of your son.

Welcome for any further query in this regard, which I would love to help you out.
Good Day!!

Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Disturbed Auto-Immune Systemic Disease, with Malabsorption Pernicious Anemia

HI,Dear,Thanks for your update query and concerns.
As your son is yet to recover from the after math of the mis-managed illhealth from Malabsorption syndrome,I would suggest you to review on this question of pre-biotics and glutamine, which may be harmful at this stage for your son's body, especially.
Glutamines or any food tonics to weight gain is not advisable to your son's case,in view of the problems he has.

Keep Me updated on the progress in his weight gain with following dietary schedules to be supplemented with food advise from your Nutritionist and Gp doctor-

Suggested diet and Drugs-to be taken under guidance of your Gp / pediatric doctor-
-Plenty of Fluids with High fat Low protein / high carbo diets.
-Avoid Spicy, non-veg food
-Stress More on Thin-Sweet-skimmed Butter Milk to avoid milk proteins.
-Vit B12 250 mgm x 3 weeks
-Folic Acid -25 mg x 3 weeks
-Vit D3-Supplements with Calcium-Tabs -under pediatric doctor guidance about the dosage.
-Iron tonics with FERROUS FUMERATE salts of Iron-if they are tolerated without diarrhea could be given if need be to increase the Hb levels.
-Banana with skimmed thin watery Milk Shakes -x 2 times per day would help your son to recoup his health and his weight over next 3 mths time.

Hope this would help your son for next 6 weeks.

Let Me know regarding the updates and When you want to send me an update, post a query through HealthCareMagic and ask them to direct it to me after 6 weeks/SOS .

Will appreciate You, to write excellent feedback comments, to help the needy patients like YOU, at HCM.
Wishing early and fast recovery for your son.
