Question: I have flatworms and keep getting them back .... they have prescribed Biltricide 3x day for 6 days ... why can't I get rid of them

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. You seem to have a reservoir of infection somewhere and even though you deworm, you tend to get reinfected soon after. It is hard to comment without a thorough consideration of your history, a clinical evaluation and correlation about what that 'reservoir' could be from which you are getting reinfected again and again. You need to discuss the situation in detail with your doctor.

Maintaining hygiene is important. Pets could be acting as reservoir. Other family contacts might be suitably and simultaneously dewormed along with you.
