Erythema infectiosum or fifth disease is one of several possible manifestations of infection by parvovirus B19. The disease is also referred to as slapped cheek syndrome, slapcheek, slap face or slapped face.Fifth disease is transmitted primarily by respiratory secretions (saliva, mucus, etc.) but can also be spread by contact with infected blood. The incubation period (the time between the initial infection and the onset of symptoms) is usually between 4 and 21 days.
It is likely that the infection to your grandson may have been transmitted by your daughter through respiratory route itself. There is no specific therapy for the treatment of the disease and management is just supportive as the viral illness takes its own course of progression and remission .
Your concern that UTI in your daughter is related to fifth disease OR THE PARVOVIRUS B19 , then it is not so . Parvovirus b19 DOESN'T CAUSE UTI. The causes for the same can be chlamydia, E.Coli, Ureaplasma ureolyticum.It is suggested that a urine culture may be performed for isolation of the organism and then a directed antibiotic treatment can be offered to her,

yes it is likely that dehydration and decreased fluid intake can cause UTI with discolouration of urine and increased frequency of urine with lower back ache and towards medial aspect of thighs. As she already has fever, its difficult to corroborate it be because of UTI per se and yes they may be masked by the fifth's manifestations.
it is advised that her water intake should be improved and aimed that her urine remains white in colour , this shall help early flush out of infection from bladder.
