Suggest Treatment For Fever, Dizziness And Headache When Diagnosed With Vitamin-D Deificiency

Question: Dear doctor,

I have an emergency question as I have come down with a bad fever ( not viral,just normal) just today. I am on Femilon birth controll pill as I told you and am currently at the beginning of my second pack.( I have just taken two tablets from this so far).
1. I felt dizzy and almost fainted when I went for a blood test today for my fever. I read that if you feel dizzy/faint you must consult your doctor or stop the femilon pill. Should I do that? I am sure that my dizziness for just a few brief seconds were because of my fever and weak body and not because of the femilon. Thus far, I have not experienced any serious side effects with Femilon like dizziness. The blood test says that I have Vitamin D deficiency ( 10 is the normal level and mine is just about 4) .Maybe that was the cause of my fainting? Please tell me whether I can continue on femilon or whether I must stop it right away. I hope I can continue it.

I also had a bad headache today because of my fever and had some pain behind my eyes( it is gone now) . This is not because of the Femilon,is it?

2. If I take medicines for my fever after I see my doctor tomorrow about it, will they effect the effectiveness of the femilon? So far, I have not taken anything but can I take the ayurvedic medicine 'Samahan' for my slight cold and crocin for my fever? I will tell you the medicines that I am prescribed tomorrow by the doctor.

Not due to femilon

Hello dear, so sad to hear all this but it is all due to the weakness because of fever and not femilon.
The dizziness if at all happens due to femilon occurs in first time intake and is seen because of the allergy to the hormones and thus asked to stop the pills.
But in your case you have already taken one cycle and this is your second pill pack so not to worry.
Yes in case you take antibiotics for this then they can decrease the efficacy of femilon so it is advisable to use protection in mid cycle along with continuation of the pills.
You can very well take crocin for fever but I have not much idea about samahan medicine you just mentioned as I just practice allopathy.
You can take cetrizine for cold in case you want which has no interaction with femilon.

Dear doctor,

Sorry to bother you again but just wanted to tell you about the medicines I have been prescribed for my fever/cold.I took a vitamin D injection too because of my deficiency ,which I must take once in 6 months.

I have been prescribed the following two medicines for the next ten days.
a.Neurobion
b.mondeslor

These will not affect the femilon effectiveness right?
