Question: I feel great and have no fever and only a minimal cough but my nose is flowing relentlessly. I believe that I have a summer cold. I never had allergies. What would be recommended to stop the nasal flow?

Brief Answer:
flonase

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are bothered by a runny nose. You can contribute this to either new onset allergies or a summer cold. I would recommend that you try the flonase first. This can help stem the flow without having to use oral medications. If this does not work then trying claritin D which has a decongestant will definitely help stop the runny nose. If that does not work then last option is a nasal decongestant spray like afrin
