He also has blocked nose but no fever. I read on the internet about staph fever and kawasaki disease so im very much concerned. please advice

It is natural to have skin peeling 2-4 weeks after HFMD

Detailed Answer:
Hi, i've gone through your query....

Nothing to worry. It's natural for skin to peel during recovery from hand foot mouth disease (HFMD). It is in the natural course of the disease. Nothing to worry about it.

Brief Answer:
I remember - don't worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi...I remember your son's case very well. To be XXXXXXX after all the discussion and interaction we had, and the praises you showered on me, I thought you would always prefer only me on this platform of health care magic.

But it was a general question and by sheer chance I tumbled upon your query.

Never mind...

I feel that this is only hand foot mouth disease because -

1. A physician seen and diagnosed hand foot mouth disease.

2. It is very common for skin to peel in HFMD.

so many values are higher or lower than the normal limits but you say all is normal pls explain . I got the tests done normally . And sorry for disturbing you and asking same thing again and again
doctor
Answered by Dr. Sumanth Amperayani (10 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Tests do not mean anything when the kid is normal please

Detailed Answer:
Hi...when the kid is normal - the test results do not mean anything.

The test results should always be interpreted keeping in mind the patient's condition. They cannot be relied upon solely and further action initiated. If we to interpret the test results solely - then the results should be grossly abnormal.

In this case the tests are not showing gross abnormalities. Nothing to worry about individual test results per se.

Sir
even my pediatrician whom we show didnt give any medicines . I got worried and thought about antibiotic as a doc on healthcare magic said give antibiotic for bacterial infection.
My son is well now only skin peeling and blocked nose and lil bit of cough when he wakes up. He had fever 2 weeks back for hfmd and after 3 days it was ok. Eating sleep urine stool are ok now and he is active. Just the other doc said crp is high esr is high hct is low and wcb is high along with neutrophyl so give antibiotic for bacterial infection.
I also sent the reports to a family pediatrician who stays outside he said reports are in normal range and no medicines needed if no fever and normal activities

Suggestions on tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi....I agree with you. Everybody's clinical skills wouldn't be the same. We cannot find fault with them.

I completely agree with your Pediatrician. He advised you excellently that there is no need for antibiotic.

As I was telling you - Everybody's clinical skills wouldn't be the same. We cannot find fault with them. That's the reason why I suggested a direct question option as only me will be answering a direct question.
