Brief Answer:
Possibly the flu

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

Based on your symptoms I would like to rule out viral infection

Would you clarify a few things for me please?
* other than fatigue and body ache, do you have any other symptoms like fever, cough, nausea, stomach troubles like bloating, diarrhea?
* how do your ears bother you?
* any joint pain, rashes? Where is the achiness felt most?
*do you have any other medical issues or take any other medications?

I recommend :
- plenty of rest and sleep
- drink plenty of water and eat smaller, frequent and light on the stomach meals.
-warm saline gargles with dissolvable aspirin can help with the throat and ear ache. Gargle in the throat and spit. Don't swallow

See your doctor if :
-you have a temperature of more than 100 for more than 2 days
-you develop news symptoms like cough, cold, throat pain, hoarseness of voice, joint swelling or redness
-your current symptoms worsen
-you have any other medical issues or have started any news medications. This will be necessary to make sure it is just the flu.

This, if uncomplicated, will resolve itself in a week to 10days

Hope I've helped and you feel better soon. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health

Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad

Thanks for responding. I do not have any fever or couch. My stomach sometimes feels like I am fighting off a stomach virus.
I do not have any joint pain or rashes.
Sometimes I feel like I have pain in my ears.

Take tylenol instead of advil

Hello madam,
Thank you for the follow up.

Avoid advil and take tylenol for the pain. Easier on the stomach.
I believe you could be right about the stomach flu.
Consider my earlier suggestions.

If you develop any new symptoms, please get back to me.
Make sure your stay well hydrated and eat adequately. Smaller and frequent meals.
