Question: The following is a list of my heart medication; Aspirin 81mg, Atorvastatin 80mg, Lisinopril 10mg, Fluoxetine HCL 20mg and Metoprolol TARTR 50mg. I was looking for a medication I can take for Erectile Dysfunction. I have taken Cialis 20mg with decent results, but experienced significant back ache the following day. Do you have any recommendations?

Brief Answer:
an unfortunate side effect of this family of medication

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, cialis can cause back pain but unfortunately this can also occur with other ED medication such as viagra or levitra or stendra

According to the FDA, the pain that occurs with cialis typically occurs 12 to 24 hours after using the medication and goes away on its own by 48 hours.

It is possible since there are differences between cialis, viagra and levitra, that you would not have a similar response with viagra or stendra or levitra but this would not be known unless tried.

These are the main oral medications available. The other options would be: (1)testosterone replacement if levels are low and this can be used

There are also medications that can be injected directly into the penis if oral options are not effective or cause problems

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
