Brief Answer:
Treatment of her focal deficit

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxx, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. I have seen her reports. She is having weakness for last 17 years. Usual time of functional recovery after brain damage, is first 12-18 months. She will not respond much on medication as brain scarring (gliossi) had already occurred. Now to treat her, role pf physiotherapy and occupational therapy along with rehabilitation program are very important.

Half body paralysis - You should provide her both active and passive physiotherapy. Active means, motivate her to move limbs. Passive means, anybody moves her joints.
It will prevent any contracture and increase muscle strength.
Occupational therapist will help in improving her routine activities.

Memory - It can improve with
- Try to involve her in brain puzzle games, chess, Sudoku, cards.
- Give her almonds, Brahami
- Tablet Donepezil after proper prescription
- Tablet methyltetrahydrofolate, S-adenosylmethionine after proper prescription
- She will also improve by supplementing some neuron specific vitamin like B12, pyridoxine, pantothenic acid.
- Try to motivate her to keep a dairy. She can write important to do things in it.

Hope it will help her. If still need any help, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
