Question: I have been diagnosed with emphysema. Can I have dog in my house, or does that aggravate the COPD

Well, better not to keep dog in house.
But if you don't have any problems if there is dust or chemicals or smoke etc then you can try dog at home.
But for long term prognosis of COPD, it is better to avoid precipitating factors like dust, smoke, chemical fumes, pet animals etc.
