Brief Answer:
About prediabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
The glucose values you reported are slightly elevated ( if they are fasting), suggesting for prediabetes.
Except of fasting glucose level, postprandial glucose and HbA1c level (the mean value of the blood glucose of the last three months) would give more information regarding to blood glucose levels.
If you are overweight and the other above mentioned tests, will confirm prediabetes, a three months diet and physical activity would be the first line of treatment.
Will be a pleasure to help you further if you will have still queries.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta

Brief Answer:
Diet and physical activity are the actual treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back!
So the numbers 6.5; 6.2 ect represent the HbA1c level? Because blood sugar of the moment can result 6.5 when measured in mmol and not in mg/ dl.
Now i can understand that you have checked the HbA1c level (the median value of the last three months) which resulted 6.5 and the fasting glucose level is 112.
The HbA1c is not necessary to be checked fasting.
At this point your physician will recommend to loose weight. The ideal weight loss is considered if you manage to loose 10% of your actual weight within one year.
The diet will consist in reducing carbohydrates and fat and adding proteins. A dietitian will be of help at your case.
Regarding to physical activity, 30 min cross three times in a week is necessary.
You need to check the lipids too and do a stress test to check the coronary arteries.
These will be the recommendations of the physician on Thursday.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
