Question: Just wondering what it would be, as I have dry irritating patches which are itchy on my neck. I wore a imagination necklace which may have irritated. I have just started using a aging crème on my neck and face.

Brief Answer:
contact dermatitis

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It appears to be contact dermatitis. This is dermatitis (inflammation of the skin) that occurs as a result of contact with a particular agent or chemical.

Dermatitis can also occur due to ingestion of particular foods, drinks, medication but in those cases the rash is usually general.

You would need to stop using the creme and discontinue wearing the necklace till you can determine which of these is the source.
Treatment would also involve the use of a mild topical steroid cream and an oral antihistamine.
Both of these would be available over the counter.

An example of a mild topical steroid cream is hydrocortisone.

After the rash has resolved, then you can reintroduce either the creme or wearing the necklace.
Only one should be done at a time to determine which is the cause.

If a rash is going to occur the it would appear by day 2 to 3 after use of either.

You would have to do one or the other (apply creme or wear necklace- not consistently) over 1 to 2 days at a time.

If no rash occurs with one, then you would know it is the other agent that caused the reaction to occur.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
