You can not get rid of diverticles without surgical removal of affected part of large intestine.
Diverticulitis is an inflammation of diverticles and should be treated with antibiotics otherwise it may lead to perforation.
To prevent this inflammation you should improve your diet to avoid constipation. Please increase fiber rich products and mineral water intake. Avoid fatty foods. Start probiotic intake.
If the inflammation will be recuring, you should consult a surgeon and consider surgery.
