Brief Answer:
Most likely stomach flu.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear,
Thanks for choosing this forum for posting your query,

The diagnosis is usually made either by colonoscopy or sometimes a barium enema x-ray study. At least a utrasonogram should be done to rule out diverticulitis.
I feel you are suffering from gastroenteritis(treatment is more or less the same).Only alarming symptom is black watery stool.
Black stool can also be caused by a serious condition, such as bleeding in the digestive tract caused by a peptic ulcer. So initially a stool for occult blood test should be done to make sure if black color is due to blood or not.

Secondly to reduce the frequency of stool imodium 4mg stat dose followed by 2 mg twice daily can be taken. This will decrease the frequency of stool.
Rest ciplox and metro should be continued as adviced.

Take a probiotic containing Saccharomyces bourdalli 5 BILLION spores thrice daily this will help to resolve things earlier.

Take electral 1 glass after every stool.
Keep yourself hydrated.
Follow up with reports.

Thanks

Follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
You were on a antibiotic and a anti protozoal for 3 days. Our gut consist of its own microflora. In easy languageit means that apart from bad bacteria causing symptoms there are trillions of good bacteria found in our gut which help in normal digestion and absorption of food,Hence indirectly responsible for proper consistency color and bulk of stool.

Toxins released from antibiotic kills the good bacteria also along with bad bacteria's.This causes various problems with digestion including change in color of stools. Therefore antibiotic therapy should always be given with Probiotic's therapy.Probiotic contains good bacteria and help to restore the depleted flora of gut.Once the flora of intestines is repleted back proper digestion and absorption of food will occur and stool will regain its color consistency and bulk.
I would suggest you to start taking probiotic like Econorm three times a day along with B complex capsules.Color of stool will return back to normal in three to five days.

In case stool turns black a stool test for occult blood should be done asap.

Hope i answered your query well.
Thank you and regards.
