Brief Answer:
swelling is not a problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case and I can assure you that swelling is not a problem. Whenever there is any surgery there is increase blood flow in this leg which causes increase swelling. It will go once fracture is healed. So it can take some months. If scar is completely healed then only swelling can be ignored.
I would like to suggest you following.
1.Compression bandage and limb elevation.
2.Take tablet Chymorol forte TDS if swelling is more.
If you can send me images of the knee then I can offer you better advise. I hope this answer will be useful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
