Brief Answer:
Low dose benzodiazepines can help in sleep for short term

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Poor sleep for short duration occurs due to psychological reasons like stress in mind. In most individuals no specific treatment is advised. But for persisting insomnia treatment is needed.

Drugs like low dose benzodiazepines can be used to improve the quality of sleep. Drugs like Clonazepam or Diazepam etc., can be used. The drugs will help to result in sound sleep and will relieve anxiety. These should be used for very short duration only. Risk of dependence is there and this is the reason the drugs should be used for very short time. Please visit a doctor and ask for prescription of the drugs I've mentioned. The drugs will help in sleep.

Thank you and take care.
