Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Conceiving
Question: Hi,
I am married for more than three years now and we are planning to start the family. My husband used the widrawal method before when we were not planning for a child. I have consulted the gyn lately and she suggested to start folic acid and all tests in my medical check up came fine. I have a regualar menstrual cycle of 25 days and 3 days period with the first day heavy, second much lighter and third day just spotting. Lately, we have started to keep track of ovulation period and try having intercourse during that period. So, in one cycle I got some spotting a week before the periods due date but periods started later normally. Now, in the last cycle I just bleeding for a day and then some spotting next day and periods over. I am concerned over the period length (why less bleeding or change in the bleeding pattern) and wanted to know how can I increase my chances of getting pregnant?

Moreover, folic acid tablet daily is given to reduce the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus.
To maximize the chances of chances, you both should have intercourse in the fertile period, which is from day 8 to day22 of the cycle, preferably every alternate day..
