Question: Hi I need to get preganat what can I do en am taking folic acid using ovulation kit is there something wrong with me 3years ago I got preganat en Iabort it cos i am nt ready then en now am ready for ppregnancy

Well i feel you are doing the right thing by continuing folic acid tabs and timing your ovulation with an ovulation kit. It is recommended that as soon as the kit comes to be positive then within next 36 hours ovulation shall occur. so a timed intercourse have to be practiced from the next day of positive on kit to next 10 days. the higher the frequency of intercourse the better are the chances.

Nextly, stress is an enemy to conception and cause hormonal imbalance on its own, so try to keep yourself destressed and enjoy the moments naturally , this would indeed help you to conceive. However a infertility treatment should be sought if after staying together for a period of atleast 1 year and having unprotected intercourse , the couple is unable to conceive. Then a detailed infertility examination is to be performed starting first with the male partners semen analysis to check for his fertility.

i am sure following these simple practices , you should be able to conceive, but dont give way to anxiety and stress. They are major deterrents to conception.

No , the lady cannot become pregnant on the last day of her menses as the endometrium is in the shedding mode and there has been no ovulation for further fertilisation. this is called the safe period.

hello,

If your menses last month was on 25th and this month it has been on 22nd nov then i would suggest you to use LH KITS to time your ovulation from 2nd december onwards. USE the kit daily and the day it comes positive, then in next 36 hours you should be ovulating.
thats the most precise way of timing your ovulation.
