Brief Answer:
may need to see doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
If you feel that you are becoming dehydrated and that the diarrhea is not resolving then you may need to go to Emergency.
Usually diarrhea is due to an infection, sometimes it is accompanied with vomiting. In any case you can become severely dehydrated. if you do not feel that you are becoming dehydrated then keep drinking fluids and see if the diarrhea is easing off. Most diarrheal infections last 24-48 hours. If it is severe or if you are feeling dehydrated go to emergency right away
I hope you are feeling better soon,
Dr. Robinson
