Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your child health concern and before proceeding further let me address basic instructions first:

A.
1. Make sure to clean your nipples before breast feeding.
2. If bottle feeding, boil the bottle and milk before feeding.
3. After every motion, clean and dry the buttocks and apply talcum powder.
4. Breast feeding can be started after one day but withold if it triggers loose motion again.

B. Take an opinion of Paediatrician to note the degree if dehydration and pulse.

C. ORS (oral rehydration salt) is the most important part of treatment, more important than drugs.Give continously as much as the baby can take except when abdomen is distended or if vomiting.

D.
Give: 'khichdi' old brown rice, porridge without milk, pomegranate, banana, honey, cumin, coriander, rice gruel, coconut water.

Avoid: refined flour,cucumber,almonds, grapes,excess water,bath (prefer sponging), milk,sour things.

E. Kesar: take approximately 1-2grains amd mix with ghee and give him to lick.

F. Since janam ghuti is not directed to the present pathology and is meant for general well being of child in terms of digestive disorders and Immunity thus withold it till his loose motion gets cured.
