Question: What would cause grey foamy 'soap bubble circles' in a stool when I have diahrea? I know I am allergic to any onion use, but this occurs quite occasionally when I know I have not had any onion contact.

Brief Answer:
Rapid transit time of the stool in the bowel

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You did not complain or say any other symptoms apart from the this grey and foamy soap kind of bubbles. Are you sure? Do not you see blood or discolored stool? Hope you do not have pain in the stomach or while passing stool?

In diarrhoea, the stool passes off quickly from the time the food is digested and during this time it mixes with the air and cause such bubbles and foam.

So if you do not have any accompanying symptoms you should not be worried.
